CRA Wraps Up Design Workshops Season 2!

CRA recently completed the second season of design workshops. The season consisted of more advanced sessions building on topics discussed in season one. Topics included a marketing proposal charette, communication via presentation styles, library renovations design and mechanical systems integration.

The purpose of the design workshops is to foster an environment of collaboration, to provide a safe place where questions can be answered and to understand why we design the way we do. The format is always in a group setting and participation is highly encouraged, via a writing wall where we can explore ideas and concepts together. The most important aspect of the workshops is to have fun. The fundamental idea is that the pursuit of architecture should stir our passions, for us as designers to be excited about the privilege of being able to shape the built environment around us and the impact on future generations.

As we wrap up Season 2, season 3 planning begins with guest speakers remoting in to discuss their points of the view on the design process and how we can collaborate better with our consultants.
