CRA completed design of a 2-phase periodontics and outpatient oral/maxillofacial surgery center. Construction of Phase 1 was completed in January of 2020. The center houses 2 practices under one roof, the Pennsylvania Center for Periodontology and Alfano Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
The Phase 1 office space includes 9 operatories, private offices, a consultation room, recovery room, and various support spaces. Phase 2, with a pending completion of 2021, will expand the current practices into the remainder of the first floor, and will add a break/training room, onsite lab, 2 additional operatories, and office space.
The office provides a soothing environment for patients, with a neutral palette of high-quality finishes and soft lighting. Circulation was planned to optimize flow and patient experience. The design allows the Phase 2 expansion to occur with minimal disruption to the practice.
