After earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design (91) and Bachelor of Architecture (92) from North Carolina State University, John joined the firm in 1994. The past 28 years have focused primarily on the development and design of public educational projects throughout the state ranging from $1 million to $120 million. His management experience translates to his current responsibilities as Principal and Director of Operations. In these roles, John focuses on overall firm management as well as collaboration with project managers, mentorship and ensuring project standards and Best Practices are implemented. He continues to work with our K-12 clients and assisting project team members in designing creative learning environments.
