Liberty-Curtin Elementary School is a new K–4 facility designed in collaboration with KCSD educational staff to support current programs and adapt to future needs over the next 20 years. Classrooms are built for flexibility, accommodating various grade levels and special education.
Key public spaces include a multi-purpose room serving as a gym, cafeteria, and large group instruction area; a media center with a STEM classroom; an open classroom near the lobby; and dedicated art and music rooms.
Security is a central focus, featuring a controlled-entry vestibule linked to the administration office and zoned areas with magnetically held security doors, allowing safe after-hours community access.
